Choosing between on-device and on-premises translation
Check which languages you need, where network access is available, and how many people will use the system at once.
On-device means everything runs on the device itself, so it works where there’s no signal. The better the device, the better the AI we can put on it.
On-premises means the devices talk to a server in your building. That server can run bigger, smarter AI than a handheld can.
