From handheld translation to custom AI systems.
Vavus began with a device that helped people talk across languages. Translation and dictation remain our specialty as we build applications, devices and private AI installations for businesses.
It started with a conversation.
Constantine and his college roommate, Douglas, started Vavus in 2020. Constantine’s travels had shown him how much of a place you miss when you cannot talk with the people who live there.
Software beyond one device
That work grew into Vavus AI, keyboard tools for translation and dictation, and Concierge for customer conversations.
Now the system follows the job.
Some teams need a mobile device. Others need a desktop application, a kiosk or AI running on their own servers. We bring the hardware, software and custom work together around those requirements.
